About The Client
The Fitzgibbon Group, who own several venues in South East Queensland and SA, embarked on their biggest project to date with a $4 million refurbishment of the former Robina Tavern; the end result is the newly named Robina Pavilion. With a project of this scope there was an emphasis on future savings, and with power being a large portion of the operating costs, they investigated solar as an alternate source of power.

Project Overview
The site footprint meant there was a limited roof space to host solar and with this in mind, we were limited to the capacity of solar which could be installed. However, the team were able to design a 100kW solar system to maximise system output and the client’s return on investment.
Results to Date
The 100kW installed during the build removes over 50% of the daytime power spend with full system monitoring allowing for transparency around all system output and savings.
