About The Client

Prince of Peace (junior campus) wanted to reduce their power bill by investigating solar, but were aware they had limited roof space. During discovery it was also noted that the college had a long-term plan to build an outside gathering area, as the campus had a very small footprint with no main hall.

Project Overview

Given the limited space, Xpress Industries put forward the ambitious plan of building an outdoor area that would not only host part of a 100kW solar system, but also create the much sought after gathering area.

Results to Date

During the build, the requests came thick and fast. There was artificial turf added to the pavilion area with line markings for all sports and lights for nighttime sports; even the house names have been added and all the time the power has been reduced as planned. There was even a roof built over the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC).
