About The Client
With power bills continually on the rise, the board of Brother’s Leagues club, decided to investigate the potential benefits of investing in solar.

Project Overview
In early discussions, it was noted that the club were also looking to provide a covered carpark for their member’s vehicles, as well as adopting clean energy through the installation of solar. It was at this point that Xpress Industries introduced the concept of the dual purpose structures that not only provide shade, but also host solar. The initial 100kW was installed on two purpose built car park structures that saw an immediate return in power savings, which then led the club to increase the overall system size to 385kW, by adding a further 285kW to the roofline of the club.
Results to Date
With the initial 100kW system on target to save around $30,000 per year in electricity costs, the club immediately investigated the second option of increasing the system size. The solar now saves the club over $100,000 per year.
